Muslim 3D is a living 3D world of Islamic history, lifestyle and rituals.
Create your avatar, walk the Holy Mosque, browse the Virtual Museum -
and travel back to the moments where it all began.
Not a slideshow, not a video - a place. Everything below is part of the experience today.
The Holy Sites
Walk the Grand Mosque of Makkah at your own pace. Continue to the tent city of Mina,
the Jamaraat Bridge, Muzdalifa, the Plain of Arafat and the cave of Hira -
each rebuilt with care for how these places actually look and feel.
And the map will keep growing: further historic destinations,
from Madinah to Al-Aqsa, are part of the journey ahead.
The House of Knowledge
A museum and a library, both virtual, both real places in the world of Muslim 3D.
Examine objects of cultural and historical importance in the Virtual Museum;
in the Virtual Library, what you discover is preserved as interactive manuscripts.
Chronicles
Guided journeys back in time. Stand in ancient Makkah at the time of Prophet Ibrahim,
witness the miraculous emergence of the Zamzam well, follow the ritual walking
between Safa and Marwa - as an eyewitness, not a reader.
Your place in it
Create your own avatar and meet the people of this world - scholars you can question,
characters with their own daily lives. With the full release they will become
livelier still, with more to say and more to show you.
Muslim 3D helps Muslims connect with their faith - and gives everyone else
an open, welcoming way to understand Islamic history and rituals first-hand.
Its content is created from the Qur'an, authentic Hadith and the Sira, under the eyes of accredited scholars.
See it in motion
Step into the world - today
On Steam Early Access
The most complete version of Muslim 3D, for Windows PC. It is a paid edition:
buying it directly funds the road to the full release - and when the full
release arrives, you get it at no extra cost.
A first taste of the world - an early, compact demo for iOS and Android.
The mobile apps will be updated with the PC version's content after the full release.
Where the journey leads
Muslim 3D is in active production. The full release - expected by the end of 2026 -
takes the world you can already explore and matures it: more polish, more content,
characters that truly live in it.
Beyond that, our map has room for much more: new historic destinations, quests that let
you grow within the world, and one day, meeting other travellers online. How fast we
get there depends on the success of the full release - we would rather be honest about
that than promise dates we cannot keep. If you want to walk this road with us,
the best things you can do are playing the Early Access - and joining the mailing list below.
The person behind it
Muslim 3D is led by Bilal Shabib, a creative developer with
25+ years in software and games. The apps and games of his studios -
Bigitec Studio and
Brainseed Factory -
have reached millions of players, won international awards, and shipped in
collaboration with industry giants like Nintendo, Meta and Sony.
A practicing Muslim and father of four, born and educated in Germany,
he has been building Muslim 3D since long before immersive Islamic media was a trend:
“I wish to contribute to a better understanding, and to change
the perception of the rich Islamic culture and history, by doing what I can do best -
creating unique and memorable video games.”

Questions, answered
What religious sources does Muslim 3D build on?
The Holy Qur'an, the Prophetic tradition (authentic Hadith) and the Sira of the Prophet
(peace be upon him) by the early authors such as Ibn Ishaq and Ibn Hisham. Spreading knowledge
about Islam is a serious responsibility, so accredited Islamic scholars review the content.
I'm not Muslim - is this for me?
Very much so. Muslim 3D was built to be an open door: explore the places, ask the scholars
in the Virtual Library, visit the museum - and understand a culture and faith first-hand,
at your own pace, without needing to travel.
Which platforms and languages?
The Early Access edition runs on Windows PC via Steam, in English. The free demo is on iOS
and Android. More platforms and languages - starting with Arabic, French, Turkish and German - are planned
alongside the full release, guided by where our players come from.
Can I prepare for Hajj or Umrah with it?
Muslim 3D is a wonderful way to become familiar with the sacred sites and the rituals connected
to them - many pilgrims and educators use the demo exactly for that. A fully guided, step-by-step
Hajj & Umrah preparation is one of the things we are building towards with the full release and beyond.
One important note: a virtual visit is educational and can never substitute the real pilgrimage,
which remains mandatory for every Muslim who is physically and financially able.
Will there be a VR version?
It is on our map - the world of Muslim 3D is built in Unity and technically ready to scale to
headsets like Meta Quest. Mobile and PC come first; VR follows as the project grows.
What exactly do I get if I buy the Early Access?
The current PC version with one to two hours of guided content and a freely explorable world -
plus every update on the way to the full release, and the full release itself, at no extra cost.
Your purchase directly funds development.
